I know his release wasn't that great, but the ball wasn't helping at all. If it would have kept rolling at the same angle at the breakpoint as it was the first 40 feet, it wouldn't have been that bad. Smith's Boost picked up and turned the corner. He was coming more around it, granted, but I just don't like that hook/set reaction. I can't change my angle of rotation, because the ball will either overhook, or won't. I'll quit harping on it, but those B coverstocks are a little rough. My Viper outhooks just about anything I have, and that's only because it starts hooking at 35 feet. If my angle of rotation is 60 degrees with it, when it hits the breakpoint, it finishes at 45 degrees or less. My X-Factor rolls at the same angle the entire length of the lane.

"Oh I'll find those stairs, I whip they butt too. They won't know which way they going. Give me a step right here and now, I'll step all over it, kick it to the curb. I am the stair masta, I've masta'd the stairs."
