I remember someone said it is a good layout, I have a 1" pin Tsunami and I am thinking about it, I have good revs and speed. BTW, where is the prefer location of the weight Hole and the ending static weight for this layout ?
-
there is no prefer location, it is only one location I believe ..
the x-hole will be at the CG and the pin will be stacked above it
I did not try this layout and I know it is not for everyone .. but I gathered it is for meduim to dry condition

I have the Semi Pin axis on my Tsunami and I love the reaction I get with that layout. GTX is right, for me I have 15.6-18 miles per hour ball speed and 350-400 rev rate depending on lane conditions I use the TSU on light mediums to Drier conditions,I have tried it on heavier mediums and for me it skated a little to long but on the lighter mediums to drier conditions it gets really long length and the a hard drive to the pocket.I dont know how the Semi pin axis would work on that short of a pin mine is 2-2 1/2 pin I will try to get you a pix up if interested.
hope this helps

yep weight hole ends up on your pap with this drilling and it usually is a large hole. there are some tricks that can be applied to this drilling. since it is semi pin, you can do a couple of things, first and foremost use a shorter pin, nothing above 2.5" long. next get the cg close to pap, you can either stack the pin right above or like i did i put the pin on my val, and swung the MB back towards the thumb, this essentially moved the cg 1/2" left of pap,
to me this ball revs the entire lane and then has a strong continuation once it makes the turn. surface prep is a major factor here,in box, a semi pin will pick up the roll decently in the midlane, but at the same time allowing you to play a small swing, slightly duller and i have played deep with one. I currenlty have my tsu polished with tracks black magic, and it shines, gets about 2-3 feet longer then the box finish, but retains more for the backend. on shortish oil (36' buffed to 38) i can play straight up 10 for the first game to game and a half before making a 3 and 1 move. shot 296 last year with this ball swinging 4th arrow to the 12 board
