no they have different offset nuggets, the tsunami mb diff is slightly higher, as its offset nugget is low iirc and the h2o has an offset nugget up high

Tsunami is built for smooth roll
H2O is more for a long skid and a strong backend

imho
and I own both

as I stated, they have different cores, and if i remember correctly, the tsunami cover is tweaked more then just a solid version of the pearl h2o cover.  great compliment to each other, have used both, just sold my h2o to new league memeber last night.

tsunami can be angular if drilled up right, but solid stock it is slightly earlier then h2o, drilled weakly the tsunami is the master of spotty broken down drying lanes.  H2o to me was a great length snappish ball, didnt like carrydown but loves the fresh

Thanks guys!  One last question: any idea on how this pearl would compare to the Emerald Pearl?

It is my opinion that the Emerald is much more skid snappy than the H2O, or at least it was for me.  Both are good balls, but I would choose the Emerald over the H2O.  Now, if I were to choose one of the newer balls, I would either use the Nebula or the Evolution.
