I just got a black cherry bomb and a cherry bomb.  They both seem to be really hook set.  Are these balls rolling out or is that their characteristics?  I love the cherry I have found ways to make it work, but the black is just getting annoying.  I thought to myself they have to be rolling out so I grabbed my freak and threw it.  It keep hooking right through the pin deck.  What am I missing?

Have you tried putting a little polish on them?

From the ones that I have see thrown they don't roll out.

How are they drilled?

you may not have enough oil. I've heard they need a good bit to roll good.

The Cherry bomb is polished to 1400.  The black I have tried everyway I can think of.  I have sanded it.  I have polished it to kingdom come.  The drill on the cherry is with the cg in the palm and the pin kicked to the right of the ring finger.  If I try to move deap with it it will get way down the lane hook up start to move into the pocket then sit.

If you look at the drill sheets on lane1's website the cherry is drilled Exactly like the picture of label.  The black is drilled just like the stacked drill patern on the website.  Except the pin is a little longer and higher by just a hair.  The black has a weight hole as well.
