Which is a better heavier oil ball- Super Carbide or the Solid Uranium?

I also have the Super Carbide Bomb, but my question is whcih is a better heavier oil ball, not a flood.

I know there are a lot of varibles like how it is drilled and surface prep, but please consider that the bowling balls are driled and prepped the same etc.

Nic,

Given the variables you mentioned, I still would lean towards the SCB for even heavy oil, as the bomb core with the high load particles are a strong factor.  While I have never thrown the SU, and I think that it is awesome, for me and my speed, I would have to go with it.  Your game could match up with either one, and perhaps the core's density, of the SU, would make it a better choice for you.  Hope some of what I have said helps.

Nicanor, I would have to agree with Saw Mill. The SCB is a heavy oil ball, but as long as you have good oil in the heads with decent length oil(maybe 38') the SCB should be fine. If the heads or mids are too dry, you need to put it away. I think the SU is better for oily to med oily, but not a flood.

Guys, I could be reading the question wrong, but it looks like he is asking about the Super Carbide, not the Super Carbide Bomb.  If this is the case, I would have to go with the Super Carbide.  The Solid Uranium is one of my favorite balls ever, and for me that would be the preference, but I think the Super Carbide would handle a little more oil.

You could probably make your choice base on your preference between reactive (Solid U) and particle (Super Carbide) and be none the worse for wear.

If the comparison is between the Super Carbide BOMB and the SU, well, there is no comparison.  SCB will handle the most oil of anything I have ever seen to date.

AAHH, Sawfreak, you may be correct here. If he is asking about the super carbide & not the bomb, I would still agree with you. My super carbide is a good oil ball. I don't have as much hand as some guys & I like the SU for oily to med oily, not real heavy.

Thank you for the replies.  My question was to compare the Super carbide and the Solid Uranium.  I thought the Super Carbide was a better oil ball then the SU but I thought maybe it was just me.  The Super carbide Bomb is so condition specific to carry all the time.  I wanted the SU for more of a medium/heavy oil ball but I was throwing iot in heavier oil and didn't care for the reaction until some of the oil was worn away through play.  I think I'll try the SU on a medium lane condition next.
