Black Cherry Bomb, heavy oil ball??
« on: August 28, 2003, 08:24:38 AM »
All,

Just picked up one of these used off this forum and should be getting it early next week (thanks pnj1967) and was curious if this will fit into my arsonal as a heavy oil ball? Also, is this ball considered a hook monster?

I have a Throttle thats good for heavy oil, but wanted to try a Lane #1 ball and like the looks of the BCB..

Its drilled stacked leverage..

Any comments would be appreciated..

For the conditions most league bowlers see, it will handle a lot of oil.  It's not made for floods or some of the stuff I've seen at tournaments, but it should be plenty of ball for most anyone.

I agree with Strider. To elaborate a bit -
By the very definitions of these balls, the Black Cherry Bomb, a solid resin, is for when the Cherry Bomb, a pearl resin, is encountering too much oil to use effectively. The Throttle, being a very strong solid particle, should be able to used effectively when there is too much oil for a solid resin, such as the Black Cherry Bomb. In general, that is ....
