Nugget

Well, I drilled this ball today.

Drilled 5x3.5. Pin under ringfinger.

For comparison I also took:

5x4 Pearl Carbide Bomb (white trizact)
 2x5 Pro purple (white trizact)
 6x4 Pink Raspberry (shiny)
 6x4 Cherry Bomb

My results:

I feel that so far the Nugget is what I thought.  Very strong midlane. Really nice backend.  Earlier than the Pearl Bomb, about as much backend though.  Not as early as the Pro Purple.(which Really rolls early) Not as long as the Pink raspberry, but as much backend.  Much more than the Cherry Bomb.

My thought on the Nugget was for a ball that liked carrydown better than my pearl bomb.  It does that.  There was a time during practice when the Nugget had trouble with the carrydown.  All I needed to do was get it to read a little earlier.  No roll out on this ball. It really continued well. You can really see it start up earlier in the midlane.  So far so good.

No,

I have been with Lane 1 since the beginning.  I chose to stay away from it.  I have seen that it has a tendency to scoot some.  I generate enough speed that I really did not see the use for another one.  I simply love my Pink Raspberry.  I did not see a place for the Cran.

I will tell you one thing though,  I have had an emerald and a Cherry Bomb that had the pin under the ring and they both burned too much.  I ended up redrilling both of them.

But, I knew that the Cranberry's were really long, so I figured that this ball would match up ok.

I am a big fan of the Lane 1 pearl particles.  I have had some great sets with the pearl carbide, pearl Bomb, and the Pro Purple, so I figured that I would like the Nugget.

Snakes, just bought my GN from Doug and that is the drilling he suggested also.He said his was drilled that way and he loved it.So since he has never steered me wrong I am having him drill my GN pin under the ring finger also.

All my other 5 Lane 1 balls are CG out but one,my Blueberry is drilled label so I am waiting for the GN to get here so I can see what that drilling does........
