All us lane 1 nuts remember the posts bashing us for using those overpriced Lane 1 balls.
Funny, but there is a plastic only tournament here in Il Feb 8, complaints about us being able to use the XXXL are already starting.
Something doesn't add up. If the balls aren't worth the money, why should they complain now if they have to compete against them.

T-god, exactly my point. Wish I had a YD bleeder & soaker for that shot.
Funny how they single out the overpriced XXXL as the ball that should be banned. How about the wolf, gargoyle, grenade, etc. Not that they did, we can use any plastic we want, no surface adjustments after shadow balls. Tournament is going to be interesting.

I'd like to see a ball collector like Nicanor bowl. I'm sure he has a Clear Wolf, a Gemstone, and an XXXL to throw. It would be interesting to see them all thrown side by side.

I had the clear wolf and and have the XXXL.
The wolf moved a lot more than the XXXL, but
had no pop on the back. I am in the process of trying to
buy it back from the guy I sold it to, so I can use it again
and see the difference side by side.

I have the Amulet plastic and it rivals the XXXL. I think a dull Amulet and a XXXL in box condition and mix in a blue dot and you have it covered
I still have a yellow dot, but not the bleeder, it cracked a couple of years back

There were two Amulets. The original was plastic and the Glowing Amulet (yes, if exposed to light for awhile, it would then glow in the dark) was urethane.

i am inspired by your wisdom mi2az . . .
there were only about half a million balls introduced in the market from the time i laid off bowling (1985) until i came back (2001) . . . and i've only been able to learn about 400 thousand or so.
i'd love to find one of those glowing amulets . . . might even look cooler than my storm soccer ball!!
