Label is not bad on some of the diamond cores, but the two i have tried on the bomb series never hooked very much.

Btw i am using pin over ring 4 3/4 pin to pap cg stacked no weight hole, dont believe all this pin has to under ring crap. But i think 4 1/2 - 5 pin to pap is the way to go with this ball, the flare is huge it will overflare and poop out IMO with 3 3/8 drills without huge surface changes.

My sentiments exactly, though I have tried a lot more than two on Bomb cores- don't know why I keep banging my head on this wall...

Label Drills never worked well for me on Lane 1 balls, but I have excelled with drillings of the Pin under RF and under Bridge with CG out 1" to 1 1/4" on the Red XXXL, EU and Solid Cobalt Bomb balls, but these balls are much weaker than the new BB so I can't say the pin under drilling will work on BB's or it won't won't.

i guessed because i've had major success with my Enriched Uranium and Black cherry bomb drilled label, i thought this would work for the Buzz.  But i should have noticed that my Dirty bomb is stacked and cobalt pearl is pin under ring cg kicked right 45 degrees and both of the ball hook like mad.

I feel that Label works better for the slow rollers or the guys who like to play straighter. I have had a few Saws drilled label and didn't have any luck with any of them. Label seemed to be very inconsistent for me on any lane condition.

Balls I have with Label 1:30 drills and how they work for me:
G-Force solid...iffy.
Black Cherry Bomb...good.
Army Green Carbide Bomb...good.
Uranium Pearl...good.
Uranium HRG...good.
Gold Nugget...bad.
Bullet...good.

Doug, if you will think back 4 1/2 or so years ago, label drills didn't fare well for me except on the Emerald of which it didn't do too bad there, but I now wish I knew what a Pin under fingers drilling would have done on it and the other balls I bought from you. At that time I swore off ever buying another Lane 1 ball again, and then a couple years ago, I began reading where others had bad luck with label drillings, but loved Pin under drillings, so I decided to try it one more time and "voila", Lane 1 balls suddenly worked great for me.

I always thought that a label drill that ends up putting the MB, or assumed MB, into your track makes the back end hold back. Control for higher rev players, NOT so good for lower rev guys who need to create angle.

What do some of you more experienced drillers think?

Revz, what you said here fits my profile because I am a low rev guy. A Track Heat Remake is the only ball I have ever had in which a label drill worked for me. Works great on that ball when the heads dry in the middle and I move outside and throw straight up 5 like I was trying to pick up the 6 pin by throwing straight down the lane beside the channel.

Harry, you can look in my Profile for the measurements of all of my current drillings. All Pins are under the RF or under the bridge.

Harry, I don't know who is drilling your balls, but it might be worth your time one day to come up to Edmond and see Anne Marie Duggan and see if she would watch you throw a few balls and make some drilling recommendations for you. If you did decide to do that sometime, call her pro shop before you come, to be sure she is in. I believe it is only a 20 minute or so drive from where you are at isn't it?
