Hybrid Dirty Bomb?

Anyone have any details on this new ball yet? Lane 1 website is just teasing. I have only owned two Lane 1 balls, a black cherry bomb and my newly acquired XXXL, which I totally love. I just recently threw my first 300 with the BCB so I am going to retire it. I was going to order up a Dirty Bomb, but now I see a new release in the near future. Either way, Im sticking with Lane 1 for a bit. Been throwing storm and hammer for 6 years. Time for a change.

Ws talking with my pro shop operator the other day about this and we thought it might be an Activator/PK-18 blend. Seeing the pic of the Hybrid with the 18 on it sounds like what they did was simply take the Dirty Bomb core and wrap PK-18 around it.
 Then again,knowing the definition of the word hybrid and seeing the beaker on the pic of the ball implies that some mixing or blending is going on here so it could be the blend I mentioned in the earlier paragraph.
 I know that I'm probably wrong. This is simply a guess based on seeing the pic itself,with no tech data to back this up. Please don't bite my head off if I am wrong with this post,folks.

Maybe It's a urethane/particle blend, something really out there. Maybe some new innovative coverstock.

 Good thought there--and it could be. Again, I'm going off of the talk I had, plus the fact that Lane #1 covers are Brunswick pours with Lane #1 weight blocks.
 If Brunswick had come up with a urethane particle blend,would they release it as their own ball first??? Just thinking out loud here............

Just like Columbia4life said. Its a PK18 blended with the Activator resin.

True, and it seems you were right with your thoughts on the pk18/activator mix, although it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. From my understanding, activator is pk18, in a highly modified form. They changed the formulation a lot and came up with a new coverstock, although the base is the same. So how are they going to come up with a hybrid? Guess we'll just have to wait and see...
