Since no one has replied for quie a while, I'll offer my 2 cents.
I have a Big Curve, but it was too strong for the oil I face. I drilled it fairly strong (pin in ring, MB just right of the thumb, no weight hole, roughly 60 x 4.5 x 40 or 4.5 x 4). I added a medium dose of non-abrasive polish over the stock P2000 gt surface. It has proven great for medium to medium+ oil (not quite medium-heavy due to the polish), providing a medium skid and nice medium arcing breakpoint.
The curve was a much flippier ball than the Big Curve for medium oil as far as I recall, with a kind of sharp backend, due to its polished particle pearl coverstock.
Since it has a marked Mass Bias, the breakpoint strength of both balls depends a lot on how you drilled it and on what kind of oil you use them. I still feel the Curve had a shaper designed-in breakpoint than the Big Curve.
