Never threw the Uranium Pearl but have the Cobalt Pearl. Very angular ball for me. Needed a good amount of dry to turn. Mine was drilled with pin 2.5" away from my pap, so a fairly smooth drilling and it still turned pretty hard. Depending on what your looking for, the Uranium could be set up for an all around ball and the Cobalt can follow as the lanes dry up.

cobalt pearl i never had much luck with, had 2 of them ,1 stacked  1 label.very inconsistant for my game , very good for others.thats how it goes sometimes

The one Cobalt Pearl I have:
.5'' pin, TONS of TW
Pin just above and to the right of ring...weight hole 3'' right and parallel with fingers.  Pretty unusual drilling, most people do short pins under the fingers.

Depending on the conditions it varies.  I throw around 17mph with moderate hand, and it will hook as an early roller and often, or get deep and get angular.  I think it depends completely on hand position for me.  This is BY FAR my favorite ball.  Enough so that I have another one coming.

. . . I have the Pearl Cobalt Bomb
. . . gimme a clean backend and this ball is a monster
. . . This ball is very underrated on how much it hooks
. . . I have to drill it with pin above bridge and cg swung out
. . . to tame it down
. . . it goes looong and once it hit the dry
. . . it makes a hockey stick move.
. . . and it looks cool to

. . . put it in the bag if there's a lot of carry downs

See, I think it plays soooo different depending on the condition.

My house changed management, thus the pattern changed.  It used to be SOAKED up front, and then have a screaming backend.  The Cobalt Pearl would skid and then snap SOOOO hard on the backend.  Now that the management has changed, the lanes are MUCH drier up front, and now this ball works great as an early roller, yet has plenty left to pop the deck.  This IS my go-to ball.  When carrydown gets down there, the ball transitions a little bit...starts getting that snappy backend again.

If you stack the Uranium pearl, then you'll have a 300 ball..... very controllable with a slow strong move to pocket with devastating results.... My cobalt bomb is drilled pin under ring cg out, this ball is a hook monster and with this drilling i'm able to play in oil (down and in @ the beginning and move left as need be cause it can hook the whole lane with carry).  when carry down shows up, just move back to the right (I'm righty) and no problems at all..... you have 2 great balls coming
