Lane #1 core/cover questions??
« on: January 15, 2007, 01:13:43 AM »
I was curious about the cores, and modifications to some of the Lane #1 balls. Are some made for a more skid/snap reaction, or some made for an even arcing reaction?

I'm curious to know if some balls react better with a certain drilling, than another ball in the lineup with the same drilling? Say balls in Uranium line vs. balls in the Bomb line.

Make sense? lol

I believe it all comes down to you, your style and the layouts that work the best for you

most lane#1 bowlers will say diamond arc and bomb snap ... with me it is the opposite, I get more snap from the diamond and arc from the bomb

all drillings will work out .. just the question which drillings work best for you (only you can answer this)

I get an extremely hard arc with the Uranium core in my Enriched Uranium. I will be drilling my first Bomb Core with the same layout in a Solid Cobalt Bomb some time this week as soon as the roads get clear of all of the ice and sleet so that I can go to town (I live in the country) and to the Pro Shop.
