Lane #1 distributors
« on: March 17, 2007, 12:16:42 AM »
It is no secret there are some great guys to deal with on Lane #1 balls. Price aside (they are always within a few bucks of each other anyway), what is the deciding factor when choosing who to buy from? I have had nothing but positive experiences across the board with all of them.

Do you guys spread the business around, or do you keep going back to one guy?

I did spread the business around and had good results, but I stick with Doug Sterner.  He's never steered me wrong.  Always have smooth transactions, and his drilling is spot on.

there is no lane1 distributor in the US .. lane1 deals with the proshops straight .. Trig, Doug .. etc are either proshops or re-sellers (on their own)

lane1 have distributors but they are outside the US ... where there is contract involved and signed by both sides .. etc to agree to the deal

I was using the term distributor as meaning "one who distributes Lane #1 balls". I was referring to the likes of Warren, Doug, Trig, Joe, etc.

Yes we all are "Pro Shops" per se and not distributors.   Some of us
due a higher volume then others and with that comes the appearence
of being a distributor.   I know we personally move roughly 50-75 Lane #1
balls a month between online sales and shop sales so Im not sure where
that would put us in terms of size.

Thanks,
Joe

That would probably be for the G-Force Solid, which has been out for a bit now.

Thanks,
Joe
