chainsaw questions

finally a ball i can play straight with on our ths . This ball is amazing for control and to play down and in . Swinging it is possible to . So the question is this , how much of this is due to the cover and how much is the core . You have an end cut each end but is there a ball with this weaker cover with the full diamond  . Would there be much difference , a little stronger , or is it all mainly down to cover stock , just asking for opinions thanks guys

70-80% of a ball's reaction is due to the cover stock, so that would be your answer.

I'm not so sure in this ball. This is a very low diff. core and that really smooths out the reaction more than the cover in this case. A polished urethane Liberator will be stronger down the lane than the Chainsaw, imo. =:^D

I agree with T god on this one. lib is way stronger downlane than chainsaw.

Buzz just order up a cse of these and call it a day. (I'll trade one for a 14 enriched you got)

I agree that this is an amazing ball with great control.  For me the Chainsaw is a perfect dry lane ball that I can also use for spares.  I do realize that the core influences a ball's reaction, especially downlane, but the coverstock has the most influence of anything.
