Does anyone have a picture of this ball that is in ebay or even heard of it?

Thanks for the pics, looks like two versions I & II.  I kinda like the specs on the ball, low rg.  But price was too high starting at 179  . . . .

No facts to back me, but I believe the megatons is the overseas version equivalent to the black cherry bomb.

"It has a pearl Hybrid cover similar to the dirty bomb and the specs are similar to the Hybrid dirty bomb."  That is what Warren told me.  I wish I had the $$$ I'd love to buy one, just can't afford it right now.

Warren is a A+ guy so you shouldn't worry about his credibility.  I've bought a ball and a 4 ball roller in the past, always had great communication.

each pro shop is only allowed 2 balls each.....its a pearl ball..will post pics when mine arrives..

There is something not right here. If these are the original megatons, the hybrid coverstock wasn't even around yet. If these are new releases, they would not be legal because of the high differential. SOMEONE IS BLOWING SMOKE!

There is also nothing about a new release on the lane one site. IF it is a new release, I don't think they would re-use the name of an old ball. IMHO!

It is a brand new ball.

The Dirty Bomb used RadioActive(Activator) on it's cover, not the Hybrid.

From what it sounds like from the info gathered on this post, it sounds like a pearlized Hybrid Dirty Bomb. Whether or not that is true, I cannot say for sure. But if it does use the Hybrid/Dirty Bomb core, I believe that core is legal under the USBC so there is no issue there.

not sure why its not mentioned on the site--if its a limited run, they may not say much about it...maybe its part of the agreement with the japanese company they are making the balls for....again, if the name was not used in teh usa, why not use it now?

About the release of this ball not being on the Lane#1 website.........
 I've been hearing about the release of a clear version of the XXXL for awhile now and it isn't in the What's Next section of the website either,so maybe this was as stated,just 100 left over from an overseas production run and not a normal production run available for purchase.

The ball is neither the I or II version. It is a completely different ball.

As has been stated...basically a Dirty Bomb with a slightly different coverstock.

The ball will be smoother than the original Dirty Bomb but stronger on the back than the Hybrid.

They are indeed a selected release. Only 100 balls to be sold...EVER. And yes, only 2 per pro shop.....

Well...hybrid+HDB+limited release+LAne#1 = $500 each minimum right?

The ones I got in look a lot like Track Rules.

And yes DrillWizard we all know you are the almighty God of Lane 1 balls but you didn't get your way this time did you? They refused to sell you the whole batch...ha ha! I was offered more than 2 as well but I didn't choose to make a pig out of myself.

Besides I think many people are not going to see a significant difference between this ball and a polished Hybrid. So I doubt if it's new latest and greatest "I gotta have me one of those!!!" type balls.

Now the new ball on the horizon on the other hand....now THAT's going to be the ball of balls......

Yes the new ball is great, I was throwing it last night, reminds me of some of the older Buzzsaws.
