Lane #1 Staff Player Contest Winner
« on: December 25, 2008, 01:30:44 AM »
First of all I'd like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and thank everyone who participated by sending in video's and resumes. This was a very tough decision, as there are a lot of factors involved. Some of which include, but not necessarily in this order:

1. Your conveyance to us how Lane #1 benefits by having you on our staff.
2. How much effort you put into your video and resume.
3. How proficient of a bowler are you.
4. Fans Poll

Lane #1's choice for the 1 year equipment/staff contract is Kevin Blackmer.

The remaining four finalists will each receive a complimentary ball of your choice. Please contact us with your request and thanks to everyone who participated in this event.

Thank you and Merry Christmas to all.

He got 30% of the vote, compared to another guy that got 38%.

I wish his video was on youtube, so I could watch it.

Nevermind I watched it.  He throws the ball pretty well.

Probably the best out of all the finalists.

Anyone that can make a Cobalt Solid even look like it fits a use on a bowling lane is definately worthy of a staff position. LOL.

He throws it very well.  Congrats & Merry Christmas.

Hey DP3, that Solid Cobalt was my all time favorite Lane 1 ball. That ball was so versatile and playable on so many different conditions and it reserved it's energy for the back-end. I let it go to another bowler that wanted one and wished after wards that I had never done that.
