cherry bomb vs purple bomb purl

can anyone tell me about these i have both and want to try the bomb core as all i have thrown has the c2 core.  are these similar??

The carbide bomb pearl is earlier, smoother and able to handle more oil than the cherry bomb pearl, the cherry bomb is later, sharper and jumpier off the dry.  The carbide bomb pearl was my favorite and most used ball before the dirty bomb was released and has since been replaced.  I personally like the orig. bomb cores and the dirty bombs core better than the cherry and scb series of bomb cores.

the purple carbide bomb had a solid core and had a particle coverstock.....as stated above,the cherry bomb had nuggets in the core.....
