SCB went to the wash!
« on: March 06, 2007, 06:58:27 AM »
I put my Super Carbide Bomb in the dishwasher today. It really brought this ball to life! Here's my steps in case anyone wonders how to do it:

1. put packing tape over finger and thumb holes
2. put the dishwasher on air dry- YOU DON't WANT HEAT DRY!
3. put the ball on the bottom rack
4. turned on the dishwasher, and let it run it's cycle
5. after it was done, put in finger holes down, and let what little water that got in, run out.
6. I then covered the ball with Clean and Dull, and used my sanding hub to resurface the ball.
7. looks great, performs great, what more could you want!?

I did NOT use any soap with this. I don't know if it would have affected it, but I just choose not to.

What about a rinse agent?
