Lane #1 Convert ????
« on: October 03, 2003, 06:02:14 AM »
Just wanted my lane 1 cliche to see this......

Last night in our late men's league this young guy (22)who uses storm equipment and carries about a deuce average is bowling a team with a real loud mouth guy.
You know the kind, a spinner who thinks he should carry everything and has never thrown a bad shot in his life..

Well it's a Peterson point league and this kid comes up and asks if he can use my Cherry Bomb tonight because he wants to shut this guy up.Well I was using my Blueberry and know this kid throws a hell of a ball so I say yes he can use it.

They are on the pair next to us this kid shoots 279 with a solid 9 1st game. Shoots 279 solid 10 2nd game then 235 in the 3rd for a 793 with a ball that doesn't fit him correctly.

Needless to say he shut Mr. Spinner up and all was well......

So I think we have another convert....and before somebody tries to rip on me about lessons or something like that I shot a 750......

All you have to do to love 'em is to try 'em!!!!  FAR superior to any other company out there, and what they've done to their line of equipment over the past year has been incredible.

Yep BadShot, I tried my first one in July and loved it so much that I now have a second one and love it just as much, if not more.

That's why I said he could use it.

If most of the Lane 1 bashers on here would only try one they would know why we use the equipment.

Now the only problem is until he gets his own, he will probably be asking to use mine...

Oh well a simple call to Doug Sterner or Drillwizard should solve that problem.

not that Im bashing lane #1 but every buzzsaw I have hooks to much.I have a super c,works great for warm up but burns up too quick to make it past first game.then I have the famus c bomb, hits to damn hard and if I'm lucky I only get away with a solid eight pin, silver diamond is a light oil ball, yea right.medium oil is at it's best and my 'nino 2 k out preforms this.I want to love my lane 1 stuff but in all honesty storm still out performs lane 1 in my book.add the extra money for a buzzsaw and it's a clear choice which line is better.maybe if you are rev challenged it's a good line but for me the stuff just plain hooks too early.don't hate me ,I'm just being honest in my opinion.

all three of my buzzsaws are drilled label.the worst of the bunch I would have to say is my carbide bomb.this thing hooks so much on the backend it's not even funny.maybe I need to drill a weight hole in it to tame the backend down abit?

6pac, Buzzsaw's are really strong off the dry drilled label. I would try a CG out drilling. This will smooth them out while allowing you to play more in the oil. Try one drilled this way just to see the difference. =:^D

I also had a bunch of Saws drilled label, or 1:30 label at that.  They were absolutely uncontrollable and very over under to say the least.  At that point I was very disgusted and discouraged by Lane 1.

By listening to people like T-GOD and going with CG out patterns on my Saws they are completely different.  Very readable, easy to control, even and smooth down the lane.

In the old days people used to cut wood with axes.....................now and days...............they just have Executioners do it for them!

Pin_Krusher IS a serious threat to modern day bowling wood as we know it today.

thanks T-god,I'll give it a try.it would be nice to have a smooth rolling saw.one of the reasons I think I'm haveing so much trouble with my carbide bomb is it has a 5" pin.this thing really snaps.
