it is my weight (14 lbs) and everything, $149.99... should i get this ball? the price is killer *he had a batch of 15s and 16s, the single 14 has set there for a couple months*, and i have heard good stuff about Lane#1. i am a tweener who bowls on alot of high-oil lanes. should i go for it and snag this puppy while i can???

It sounds like you're talking about a Blueberry, and if you bowl on oily lanes, you'd have to sand it.  However, it IS a great ball.  I drilled one up tonight, and if you can believe it, I can actually tell a difference in hit with this one.  The pins really fly around a lot more, and I don't know why.  My Emerald and Cherry Bomb weren't that much more outstanding (although my Carbide LRG was and still is the best ball I've ever owned), but this sucker really packs a punch, especially on the light hits.  I'd say go ahead and get it.  You might not be able to use it on oily lanes, but if you ever hit spotty lanes or medium conditions, you'll love it.

Cocky?  I'm not cocky.  I'm the proud owner of a 280-742 set with a White Dot.  So, who wants to touch me?  . . . . . . .  I SAID WHO WANTS TO F*#%!&G TOUCH ME?!?!

Man!  I'm like the white Larry Bird!

Don, if the specs are what you want, I'd say go for it.  If they're not, you can get a NIB Cranberry (similar ball, just slightly longer and a bit more backend) from Doug Sterner for $159, and Doug will order you exactly the pin/top you want.
