Liberator...

So on the liberator for those who have it, do you suggest drilling the ball pin up or down?

If you have one please reply with some info on layout and reaction shape.

Thanks.

Pin up or pin down depends on what you are looking for the ball to do.

Obviously pin up will get more length and a better backend. Pin down will tend to start up faster and be more even.

If you are looking to use the ball on lighter conditions I'd suggest the pin up drilling since it seems to help the ball get longer on medium to lighter conditions.

If you want to use the ball on a heavier condition for control I'd suggest the pin down to promote as muich roll as possible.

Of course the other variable is your own personal game....pin up for lower speeds or rev rates, pin down for higher speeds or rev rates.

No matter how you drill the ball it is still going to hook if there is any dry out there at all.

I had mine drilled 4x4 pin up nad it was WAY too strong. I tried to polish it up and it was still too strong. I sold it before I did anything to it in terms of redrilling.

I think a pin over ring cg in palm drilling would work VERY well for most on the condition many will be using it on.

Mine was a label 1:30 drill.
It hooked hard (for urethane) in the mids, and laid off on the backend. It was much stronger than I had anticipated. It was definitely not the right ball for a wet/dry house shot. I never did find quite the right condition for this ball, so I sold it.
