Liberator...
« on: February 22, 2009, 01:48:24 AM »
This has been a nice niche ball for me. A lot of nights where the lanes are just way to inconsistent I can pull it out and grind out something decent. This isn't an everyday ball and it doesn't stay in my bag at all times but it works well to dual as a spare ball as well as be a good ball to control the lanes with.

Heres a quick shot of it in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IndTw_Fzjzk&fmt=22

nice shot there
looked like the ball weighed 50 pounds
when it hit the lane your camera got unstable

Haha, yeah, the camera was on a dinky little stand and I don't set the ball down all that kindly so it jumped a bit. The ball does hit well, its a different kind of hit though. It seems like the pocket is another board or two to the left compared to reactive for an optimal carry shot.

Frank, I'd be interested if I wasn't stuck in the middle of Illinois. I like the concept of what your doing but i'm just way to far away to participate, good luck with everything.

And I only got the liberator due to a hell of a deal I was offered, I still consider it a niche ball and I can't really say if its any better than any other urethane option. I just was able to get it with great pin out and top weight so I punched it up as a bit of an experiment, its just a lot different than reactive is all I can say.
