Lochetter uses an Enriched Uranium Buzzsaw, along with the One, to take the lead in the Dick Weber Open. Seeing as though Beans' post was deleted, I figured I put it out there for all the nay sayers to see again. =:^D

So?  I guess since Bohn and Machuga both throw Brunswick (and both ahead of Lochetter) I guess that means that Brunswick is the greatest bowling ball company ever.  This is what I don't understand, 99% of the posts I read say that Lane 1 is good, no better, no worse than any of the other brands out there, and therefore the extra cost is not justified.  But anytime ANYONE with a name picks up a Buzzsaw, it means that Lane 1 obviously rules all.  Lochetter also used The One.  What does that say?  Oh, I know, it says that no one ball/brand is the end all be all answer to bowling.  If that wasn't the case, he would have had no reason to go to another company, he could have stayed with Lane 1, but obviously Ebonite gave him some sort of look that Lane 1 couldn't give him.

poor parker.  averaged 241 today and his average went down for the tournament lol.  Amazing scores!!  I don't think it  mattered what they threw today.  Strikes galore.

the bold part is what gets me .....

he uses one ball along w/ another companies to gain the lead....FOR A WHILE
and now everyone is a nay sayer ?!?  LOL ....come on Ritchie stop it!

There's a lot of people who come in here and/or ask why doesn't anyone on the PBA Tour use Buzzsaw's. Another bunch say Buzzsaw's are no good because if they were, they'd be using them on tour.

I was just pointing out to these people that the balls are being used on tour and doing quite well with them. That's all, nothing more.

You lane one bashers need to put everything in perspective. Can't you at least agree that if there are 100 to 1 different brand balls being used, the lonely 1 being a buzzsaw & the guy using it is in firstplace over & above all the others, that the ball may have helped him get there.

If it were the other way around with the brunswick ball being the lone one being used, you brunswick guys would be talking it up as well. Get over it! No one here is saying saws are the only way to go, we're just happy to finally see some guys on tour using them & doing well with them!

I've got money that says unless Lane#1 is willing to "help out" Lochetter for using their equipment on the show, he'll be throwing someone else's stuff. At least to start.

A young guy on tour needs to make every dollar he can at this point in his career.

I think that he will use the ball that got him there..in the early rounds he was using the saw...most likely a better reaction when the oil was fresh..hopefully he will start with the enriched uranium and score well....
I noted about 5 other pba players had drilled up enriched uraniums this week..seems like its a popular ball not just with the league bowlers, but with the pro's too....
