Suggestions For Wife Saw Transformation
« on: August 14, 2005, 09:57:43 AM »
My wife's has very slow ball speed (8-9.5), and small revs, but the slow ball speed helps cause movement.  I am thinking of getting her 4 saws, with the possibility of 2 xxx's (one drilled for small movement, and one with either label or thumb for no movement).

I need some suggestions for med to light oil ball and one for med oily to oily.  Bear in mind she likes cool colors, and one of my choices for medium to light was the H2O, with a long pin to help with length.  I am even open for some original stuff, but it would have to be new, as she is not good with used stuff.

What is the lightest weight ball they sell; she needs 11 or 12 pounds, and I believe they are the only company whose weight blocks do not change in the lighter weighted balls.   This is a surprise for her, and I look forward to your suggestions.

Saw Mill, I went through the same thing with the wife. Did find out though that 13 lb. was the lightest,  with Lane #1 . She ended up getting a Cherry Bomb.

Thanks pnj, I will contact Doug Sterner or Chuck, and get more information, I believe you are right, and if so she will have to remain a Storm (yuckkkkk) thrower.  I was hoping to make it a family affair.

Lane1slave is correct. Going back thru the buzzsaw line, the only ball I saw that was made in 12lb was the buzzsaw/c black.
