I've got a gap to fill and I want to try a Lane 1 ball. I am a 400-450 rpm player with 17-18 mph ball speed and play more up the back of the ball. My current arsenal:
Heavy- Impulse Zone, 45 degree layout, 600 grit matte. Medium-Heavy-?????? Had a nemesis but did not like it at all.
Medium Light-Punisher, 75 degree layout, box finish.
Light-Power Groove Dry/R, Rico 1, 2500 polished.
Any suggestions and drilling ideas would be helpful.

I would go with a pearl Uranium or the new H2O. Start with the original diamond core to get a taste of what Lane 1 is all about.
The Uranium will start up sooner than the H2O, while the H2O will give you more length and backend reaction. =:^D

I thought the H20 was supposed to be for lighter oil?

It is for medium to ligther but given his Rev Rate it would definitely be stronger than his Punisher but too much a gap left until the Impulse if you ask me. The Uranium would be better of the two but I would also recomend a pearl dirty bomb in there.

Yessss, the Pearl Uranium would fit your gap nicely. I believe tha H2O ball is designbed for more medium to light conditions. Get the Pearl U, and you will love it. You may even find that Lane 1 will match up better for you, as your profile is like mine (check mine out), and Buzzsaws are the best for me!!!! ( I will NEVER change)

Regardless of what the pins are made of, you can still SAW 'Em Up! Mess with F.O.S. and get CUT like all the rest!!

I have a Hybrid Dirty Bomb with a nice layout that would fit that gap. The thumb has been plugged and redrilled once.
Interested?
