Looking to upgrade from my Tsunami
« on: October 23, 2012, 11:43:52 AM »
Hello! I've been using a Tsunami H2O for years. I bought it new and have been able to use it on nearly every lane condition I've encountered. Still, it's time for an upgrade and I need help trying to figure out what to get. I usually get medium to medium heavy conditions. I'm left handed (shhhhh!) so carry down isn't normally a problem. I like the look the Tsunami gives, but I think it's time to go a little stronger. I usually start 12 out to 5 at 16 mph. It's been a long time since I've looked at new equipment and Lane 1 doesn't have a strong presence where I bowl so I can't compare what others are throwing. Suggestions please!

If you want to stick with Lane 1, I suggest the Ripsaw with a stronger drill and the same surface you have on the Tsunami......

Both Bombers are awesome, but if your looking for something similar to the Tsunami but stronger wait a few weeks. I think something is coming you'll really like...

As a replacement for the H20, I'll second Doug's recommendation. Although the stock surface is 4000 grit matte, it is easily adjustable to handle a wide range of conditions from medium-light to medium-heavy, via rougher sanding or polishing with any degree of under-grit. Good amount of flare for continuous hook at the pocket. Very versatile ball.
