Has anyone drilled both of these balls with similar layouts?
I was curious how much stronger the Red Death is compared to the Massacre. I like my Red Death but need a little more length as the lanes break down.
Any input here guys?

sorry Doug
Drilled the massacre pin above and Red Death CG out
Red Death remind you of the BCB?

I'm with Randy, when ive seen the Red Death I think BCB right away. And as for your question Doug, i would definitely choose the Massacre as the option for when the lanes are breaking down and you need a little more length.

Well see I am ain a bit of a pickle at the moment because I have changed my style soooo much since I had any of the old balls...BCB, Berry C2, Blueberry, etc.
I am forced to use layouts I would never have used in the past. I mean here's my Red Death:

I have added a light polish to the ball as well. I just cannot get anything that I can stick with for 3 games lately. I can use the Red Death for a game and a half but I have a very difficult time switching to anything else when that ball goes away...the core, cover and layout are so much different from any other combo i have in my bag.
I was hoping that the Massacre I have in the shop would work if I drilled it the same (box specs are identical). I know what SHOULD happen but I was trying to get some solid feedback before I tried it.
Thanks guys....

My Massacre is Drilled 3 3/8 x 3 3/8 Stacked:

My Red Death is 5 x 3 + Secret Sauce:

I know they aren't similar, but I feel the 2 balls complement each other nicely.. I honestly didn't use my Massacre much until recently when I got the Red Death, when I found they work together well. For me the Massacre definitely gets down the lane farther, but I feel it has a stronger back end then the Red Death.

Hey Zeus,
With your pin/low stacked Massacre, is the ball pretty smooth? I like stacked too, but for a pearl, I don't want it to oversnap when the ball reaches dry.

It gets down the lane nice and smooth but makes a sharp turn on the backend...
