Nice to see another video of a new ball, the guy is going coast to coast like every other vid out their. Looks the same as any other ball.

He was playing about 5 more boards in with the Red Death so it looked like a big gap to me.

dynamo x2 is right at the start, both get to the same break point but different paths, he was showing the difference in strength between the two

its a house shot, breakpoint is always the same

not my vid, I will be punching mine tonight, gonna deviate from my standard drillings and try something else

I am going to try for a late breakpoint type drilling.  just to see how much different of a shot shape i can achieve

my dynamo x2 is far longer then that shown in the vid, but I drilled it for that, high pin above bridge, cg in palm the ball goes quite long and have a very mellow controled move to the pocket, but carries very well.  interesting cover reminds me of some of the older big b stuff, track it up and then it comes alive.  oil rings seem to stay on the surface for a very long time as well

Please tell me one thing:

Why would you take the time, effort, money (however small it may be) to film a video for a ball, then do it on a House shot?

If you want to show difference between balls, and show how good a ball really performs, why not do it on a tougher pattern? A PBA or Kegel Challenge pattern. This way if people see how good it performs on one of those, they will think it will do even better on a THS. By showing them on a THS, all we see is the same thing ball after ball, then people buy it and they can't swing the lane with it like the video and think the ball is junk. Or they buy it to use on a harder pattern and the ball falls flat on it's face. This is not a shot at Lane #1, just happens that this link was on the front page and I wanted to see it, but this tells me nothing about this ball that would make me want to buy it.....ohhh someone hooked it on house shot, anyone can do that.

I guess my question to that is
did watching someone of billy o's talent on the new brunswick ball (c system) show you anything other then his talent?  all i see over there is gushing about the ball, big deal, Billy could have thrown anything on that shot and made it look the same,

Ball motion, move after the break, contination thru the pins, thats what videos should show you, house shot or not.  A hammer rayzr would not make that big of a move, and a super carbide bomb would look differetn too

While it's true on THS all companies due the same thin (hook the whole lane)if you pay attention to ball motion etc you can get a pretty good idea what to expect. The fact that you could see the difference between box and polished was nice. And your always at the mercy of the center whether or not they will put out something other than THS for you. Nice vid only thing i missed was what was the layout on the ball

Same here - or a nicely prepped lane with a bone-dry back end. Since no oil pattern info is given (or vaguely at best), the video has little info potential to me. The ball hooks, O.K.. What else?

Because the hook impresses wannabees who gladly hand over lots of money to buy "such a hook" (regardless of the brand). IMO well-spent money (and content) for the intended target group.

the video is to show you as I stated, ball roll, move at break point and continuation thru the deck, which by the way is the only thng most house bowlers are concerned with

a guy bowling a sport/pba/kegal pattern, more then likely is way more familiar with his own game and has the ability to discern via ball numbers and drilling advice from his driller to get exactly what he needs

Why must we read into these videos beyond what they are meant for?

Who knows Trigg.  That's how people find things and ways to trash Lane 1?

And I love that vid!  And that's exactly how I'm gonna lay mine out!  Can't wait!
