Met Beans at the Lane 1 booth tonight!

Hey, all!

We stopped at the Lane 1 booth during Bowlfest at the Albuquerque Convention Center, and I got to meet Beans of Beans Secret Sauce.  It was almost as much of a thrill as meeting Rudy Revs at the same time!

When you bowl, be sure to stop at the Lane 1 booth and say hi to the guys.  They all seemed incredibly friendly.  Beans even has me thinking about buying an Evolution.  I mean, how can I resist when it's sitting there with a price tag on it that says $149.99 drilled?

You can't miss the Lane 1 booth.  It's on your right, the last booth before you walk into the actual gallery seating area for the lanes.

Where did Bean's post go about the pricing error (was $149, then $159)

I think he deleted it.  I had two PMs from him this morning.  One about a price error and a second saying the price would stay at $149.99 for the tournament.

Are they selling the sauce there?  I asked this on the Beans web page forum and never got an answer.  

To anyone who uses the sauce, how many games are you getting before you re-apply??

Beans said the sauce should be in stock at the venue soon.  I plan to give it a try.

Apparently there's something wrong with thinking people can be nice just because they choose to be?  I just don't get the attitude.  They WERE friendly.  We discovered we hail from the same part of the country.  We talked about bowling in that area.  They didn't try to sell me a darned thing.  As a matter of fact, they recommended holding off on buying anything until we're sure it's what we want.

Can you imagine making a product that you think is superior to the competition and touting that it is. Imagine! Never tried Bean's myself, but I say ROCK ON!

The reason I did not "try" to sell debina a ball is becasue the balls sold themselves. They walked in and asked questions. Very nice people.
