Dynamo X2 -- It's getting close.....
« on: July 11, 2009, 09:29:12 AM »
It sounds like the first batch of the new Dynamo X2's have started to ship. I'm looking forward to my order arriving in next week or so. With the solid Dynamo being one of the most versatile oilers available (from any company), the pearl version has a shot at being a very impressive piece.

I'm anxious to hear about early experiences others will soon be having with the X2. Don't be shy in posting. Thanks.

Anyone actually have any initial impressions after throwing the ball?

This is VERY STRANGE. This ball is available for sale. People received seed balls, and yet, NO ONE has any experience throwing this ball or has any initial impressions?

This is especially strange since several Lane #1 regulars are usually very quick to put information out here as (or well before) new releases become available. Is there some problem with these release??? It has to be the quietest one I've NOT heard about from Lane #1, ever.

I would post about it but unfortunately i dont have one yet, I do however already have my original dynamo at 4k abralon plus polish and it is hands down the best ball in my bag

I will be hopefully drilling a dynamo x2 soon and can give some feedback

people also need to remember it is summer a lot of people dont bowl leagues or even see fresh oil in the summer

I'm working on it.  I picked up a Dynamo-X, Gemstone and finally got my Chainsaw back from the shop.

Sorry.  Didn't have time to edit the video.  The military has a way of changing plans.  I'm out in the middle of the SOCAL desert at 29 Palms Marine Corps Base, posting from inside my CP tent, tethering my Acer Aspire One netbook via my BB Curve.

Gotta love the unlimited data plans.

Plus I'm working on my game a bit.  My coach told me I needed to open my shoulders more at the line so I want to make sure I put out a quality video.

My apologies for the delay.

ok guys i drilled a dynamo x2 last thursday, and ill give you my impressions of the ball. first ive been a loyal storm guy for almost 10 years now, so i was skeptical at first when i got the opportunity to get this ball. i bowled on two shots, the first being a 54 ft. flat tournament shot. lol pretty much nothing hooked on this so i couldnt get a tru read on it. so then saturday i go to my home center and throw a few games. let me tell you, this ball is super smooth and strong! i really like this core cover combo. i needed a piece to sort of smooth out alot of over under ive been getting on tournament shots as of late. thats exactly what i got with the dynamo x2. the ball is EFFORTLESS through the front of the lane, and gives me a nice hard arc to the pocket. my layout is a 5x4 with a small hole on my axis. with the way this ball stores energy with a different drilling you could easily get some massive backend with this piece. ill post a full review later this week when i use it more, but im very impressed with it so far.
