I recommend contacting Warren first.  He has a good rep on this site.  He might just recommend plugging the fingers to include the crack and re-drill, but again, talk to Warren first.

Do not plug!!!!  Whatever you do.  If you just bought it, contact the guy you bought it from (assuming he runs a pro shop).  They should replace it through the pro shop.  If not, then contact Chuck at Lane 1 directly.  Chuck@lane1bowling.com.

You will just need to supply pics of the crack and they take care of you.

If its only the bridge that cracked, it will be cheaper and faster to plug and re-drill the fingers and better in the long run.  If the ball works well for you now with you're current drilling, better off keeping it because the weights and pin difference might be different.

As i said beforeWarren has a good rep here and you can also call or email chuck.  the customer service is great.  But again, if the ball is not in danger of cracking throughtout the ball, it might be better to plug a re-drill the ball.

What does the pro shop get to drill a blank ball as compared to plugging and re-drilling just the fingers.  If you keep the ball, the pro shop you had drill it orginally should plug and re-drill for free.

I'm not disputing if fixing the bridge isn't cheap or worth it.  BUT, if it ends up cracking again and you want the manufacturer to replace they ball, they will not.

Any plug job voids the warranty of a ball with no exceptions.  You're screwed if it happens again and you want them to replace it.

So no, I suggest to not plug the bridge.

I would send Chuck an email with the picture of the cracked bridge and ask if he would replace the ball and if he does keep the cracked ball and fix it.

If you want to be a little more honest, ask Chuck to agree to replace the ball if a crack appears that does not make the ball useable or repairable after you repair the crack in the bridge.  He will respond in an email and keep a copy of the email.

You couldn't ask to work with a better company or rep.  Not saying that others aren't good also, but Chuck will work something out with you if Warren doesn't.

All major ball manufactures DO NOT replace the ball anymore for a cracked bridge  around the fingers.  Their suggested remedy is to plug and re-drill the area that has cracked.

This isn't true.  Lane 1 has replaced many a ball with a cracked bridge.
