My first Lane #1 ball
« on: July 26, 2008, 12:23:51 AM »
I just got my first Lane #1 product, a G-force Nebula from my summer ball league. Had it drilled with the Stacked layout on the drill sheet that came with the ball. Threw it for the first time last thursday on a THS synthetic.

First game trying to figure how much room I had couldn't miss too far right as it wouldn't come back, if I pulled it then it crossed over. Did carry some brooklyns though. 179. Second game started to get a feel for this ball reaction 215,3rd front seven then a 10 pin, X in the 9th, RINGING 10 pin spare, X in the 10th for a 259. Not bad for the first time out. I'm a 199 average so a 653 was good for me. Think I'm liking this ball!!

This was my 1st Lane 1 also, was an awesome ball but it cracked. Lousy NY humidity and temp changes I think. I did pretty good on the PBA patterns with it.

for me the nebula wouldnt recover from deep angles but thats the nature of many particle balls. both the evo and nebula didnt give me much room for error but when it did get even near the pocket it did carry well.

the one thing i loved about my nebula? it looked awesome.
