well i did it...i spent a little extra money and bought a lane 1 ball a tsunami. I wanted to see what these balls were all about. Got it punched up yesterday threw it a couple shots and went to league.
layout is 4-1/2 X 3-3/8 with a weight hole on my VAL pitched away from the COG
as a quick mini review this thing is everything i wanted and more...i have always matched up well with brunswick coverstocks (including morich too) so i wanted to give the diamond core a try. The reaction i got on the house shot i bowl on (41 feet medium blend which carries down usually starting the second game) was great. I started the night playing 30 with my feet out to 12 at the arrows and the thing just struck at will...its nice and even when it hits the dry almost a really hard controlled arc which is what i like to see in a ball...it smoothed out the over under i sometimes get on our fresh shot very well, long story shot front 8 out of the box 10 pin 268...next game the oil starts to move down lane and this is usally the game i struggle with trying to find a new line...by the end of the game (203) i was at 25 with my feet and 8 at the arrows...this shot holds up the rest of the night and a 9 pin and a 8 pin later i shoot 258 my last game
268-203-258=729 Honor Match
the ball is impressive...so after one night i feel pretty good and i think i may match up pretty well with lane 1...i will provide more details as i get more games on the ball and if i have time i may shoot a video
thanks for reading!
btw i didnt want to believe all the hype but there is something about this ball it just hits harder and seems like it carries those semi light hits very well...i guess time will tell
