Nebula VS Evolution
« on: May 13, 2007, 06:00:56 AM »
How do these 2 balls compare. I know that the Nebula is particle pearl and it will be more midlane then the evolution and im thinking the evolution is more skid/snap. Anyone got both ? and can help me out

From what I have seen from my Nebula, and what Chuck has said, the Evolution goes much longer.  I drilled mine with the pin just beneath the ring and slightly right, with cg swung in, and in the palm, with the MB just below and left of the thumb, with no weight hole.

This is the first ever cg in ball I have drilled, BUT it reads the mid lane super early, and is nothing BUT a strooonnng, smoooth, and controlled arching motion.  This is all I can add at this time.

I have both, and your assumption is correct.

The Nebula reads earlier and has a smoother reaction at the breakpoint (strong arc). Mine is drilled pin under ring, CG out (4.5x3.5).

The Evolution goes longer and has a sharper breakpoint (skid/snap). Mine is drilled pin over ring, CG out (5x4).

If you have the cash, get both. They compliment one another VERY well.

sawmill, your drawing may confuse folk a little, it looks like a stacked lefty drilling.....your ball has the pin under the ring finger(rh), with the cg slightly positioned left of the pin, so everything is in tight..no weight hole was needed.the mass bias was in line with the cg and ended up right of the thumb hole (positive side).
as sawmill mentioned, strong reaction, reading the lane very well...
