never had a Lane # 1 ball
« on: November 01, 2015, 08:04:30 AM »
Never had one, never saw one thrown. Nobody in my area has one or uses them. I know they are not PBA approved but are they just over priced and this is why nobody uses them here? Does Storm pour the covers? Ive been interested in them but never "pulled the string" to get it. I'm looking at the pro V and Typhoon pearl but these balls are over a year old already and other companies technology has grown over the last year...So why would I get one of these over one of the bigger companies?

The Lady Buzzsaw may be the best ball that nobody tries. The Panther core has been excellent in every ball that it has been in. I do not expect this one to be any different. Especially with "Storm" covers.

Who carries Lane#1 balls for sale online?
I see that places like Buddies and CHeapBowlingBalls.com no longer carry Lane#1 balls.

I saw that; since it was just one ball, I wouldn't consider them to be "carrying the Lane #1 line".

  • I have a name, therefore no preferred pronouns.

It would be the ultimate irony if a website called "CheapBowlingBalls.com" did carry Lane #1.

Their prices and service have been good, but their name is ... not conducive to good sales.

I have the Lane #1 Liberator urethane. I  throw it on wood lanes and it hits a ton. Works best if you stay behind it and don't try to rev it. Bought it new and the price was fair.
