Title: New acquisition for me! New Buzzsaw!
Post by: SlowHand on December 09, 2005, 03:20:52 AM
Well gentleman last night I just picked up my second buzzsaw. I chose the H2O, had them slap a label drill on it with the pin next to the ring finger and the mb about 3/4" left of the thumb on my track.

Will post a mini-review after league on Tuesday. I'm totally excited to see if it is the one-two punch with my Hybrid Dirty Bomb as Triggerman had suggested. I just know it will be. Just one question for the Lane #1 gurus here. Will this ball require several games break-in period as with a lot of balls I buy? Or is the first reaction out of box gonna be the one I can expect all the time? After all it is only my second Lane #1 ball. Oh did I say I LOVE LANE #1?????

Why'd you put a label drill on an aysmmetric?  I hope lane 1 doesn't have strong asymms, otherwise that could flare the wrong way.

Andy, I think in comparison to others, this asymmetrical core is considered fairly weak.

Slow hand, good luck with your new saw. I think you'll get a good reaction right out of the box. You probably looked at the drill sheet but if not, here it is:

Thanks guys,

Just not sure if I can wait till Tuesday to throw the dang thing. **shakes in anticipation**

Don't know for sure if the drilling is exactly what I wanted in terms of shot shape but I'll make it work. Oooooooooooh baby!

Alright then, no worries.  I never really see the numbers on Lane 1 stuff so I had no idea how strong their aysmms are.  I know with the new Zones they are fairly strong to drilling it that way is generally a no-no, as with morich and probably track.
