Since purchasing my first Tsunami and switching to all Lane#1 my avg has gone from 196 to 212. Works great for me.

did for me as well, gave me my first 300, dont get me wrong i threw well with Big b, but one singles title, one doubles title and numerous 279 games and a 300 have convinced me. the average for me went up

Inverted, you know it's difficult to empirically prove a that a given line of balls helps you score better. Lane#1 does have the physics study that suggests the diamond core provides some advantages. There are several testimonies (including my own) about averages going up significantly after switching to Lane#1; I've cracked the 230 barrier two years straight using their stuff. Given that I'm old and partially crippled, I doubt that placebo effects are coming into play. Simple logic says that predictable and even rolling equipment should provide some on-going advantage if you use it properly.
Regardless, you're going to believe what you want to believe, so evidence isn't going to matter. I took you at your word when you basically said the Fury Pearl is a turd. Sometimes you have to return the trust in the other direction.

Reg: You know that there a few guarantees in life, especially if you're already at 240. In your case, I doubt it would make any difference.
However, for bowlers in the low 200's with some solid fundamentals who need a bit more consistency in their roll characteristics, Lane#1 equipment can help.

Now scorewise, I shot a two 300's this season, one with a XXcel by Ebonite and one from the Enriched. Series wise. 760 (HDB), 763 (Enriched), 791 (Enriched), 753 (Cobalt), (716 Bigtime), 706 (Bigtime). As you can see, whether its the ball or just my confidence in Lane1 equipment, it does in fact make a difference.

Seriously talking: I see no big difference in my score range! I am average ~180 and here I don't think lane#1 gives me a boost. But I guess for a 220+ bowler it could be as I also think and belive that light and off hits are carried.. sometimes

I've converted a few people at my lanes in the youth as well as the adult leagues from Brunswick, Ebonite and Hammer to Lane #1 just by letting them try some Lane #1 balls before buying them. Some said they noticed a difference in the roll and hook, some said they didn't notice much of a difference in roll and hook, but they have all commented on how Lane #1 seems to carry better, especially on high and low hits.
Most of these people used to laugh at me and run down Lane #1 just like most of the non believer's here. Now that they've tried them and seen for themselves, they have changed their tune.
I gave a G-Force Solid to my son's friend on the youth league with a 200ish average. Him and his family are diehard Ebonite fans. His father and mother cringed when I offered it to him to try since he was struggling with his Ebo's. He started tearing it up with the Buzzsaw. He will still use his Ebo's now and then, but usually goes with the G-Force. Even if he does start out with one of his Ebo's as soon as he starts struggling he always grabs the Buzzsaw. Even his father and mother have commented on how well the Buzzsaw works for him. This caught the attention of other kids on the youth league and there are more starting to ask about them.
And by youth league I mean the Travel League and the Junior Gold League, not just the regular Saturday morning goof off youth league.
Last night I sat and listened to my team mates friend cry about how his Brunswick Fury has died on him after less than 100 games. He said he's been on the phone with a Brunswick rep and has tried everything suggested but the ball still sucks. I guess we will see what he thinks also as we talked to him about trying a Buzzsaw and he has agreed to give it a try so he can see for himself what the hype is all about and if there is any difference.
Another Lane #1 convert on the way, lol.
