« on: January 24, 2008, 08:36:43 PM »
Hi all. Where would you place the XP in this lineup?
Your input is greatly appreciated.

Morich LevRG
Roto Grip Cell
Nebula
Evolution

Thanks again

For me, it fits between the Evolution and Nebula.
XP is earlier and smoother than the Evolution.
XP is not as strong as the Nebula.

Ditto to what Jon said.....mine fits between my Nebula and Evolution as well.

Of course the other balls in my bag are pretty much just sitting there since I got the Buzzbomb :-)

I just shot a 280 the other day with my xp. I have a SN too. But don't really think I'd have much use for a BB right now. I have an original Super Carbide that rarely sees any use.

Thanks for the replies.

What grit does everyone have their XP's coverstock at? OOB? I have read that many people have had success with the cover at 2000.

mine is prolly in the 2000 range

even tho this is a asymetrical ball dont hesitate to consider a "label" drill on it, the xp is flat out huge with that drill

I agree with Trig on the Label drill. On mine, the pin is about 3.5" from the PAP, CG just right of grip center, MB left of thumb. The ball is very smooth, but the cover was a touch strong in OOB surface. I hit it lightly with polish, and now I have the reaction I needed for a medium THS.
