I never seem the movement touted on the Buzzbomb.
The AO will make a pronouced move at the break point and in box condition will handle the heavier of oils. It will roll out/burn up in short oil if in box condition and lwer pin. A higher pin might help it get down the lane further. But I know surface adjustments work on the ball and it adjusts easily. I drilled two Buzzbombs three different ways including sending one drilled Buzzbomb all the way to Lane 1 where they plugged the ball, layed it out and sent me that ball back and a second Buzzbomb free with higher top weight and I still didn't have any luck with the Buzzbomb.
So the customer service at Lane 1 is tremendous and many bolwers matched up well with the Buzzbomb, I just never did and it wasn't without trying.
The first time out with the AO in box I knew it was too much ball for the condition I was bowling on, one shot and back in the bag. Then I took it to 2000 and water on a spinner I went 198, 196, 203 and had to change balls in the third game. Really the ball was too much the whole night. A lot of 4 pins and 9 pins and once a 4-10. The oi was realy too short oil little and dried up quickly.
Like I said earlier, I was giving a lesson after Jr Masters on a heavier oil condition, my Gladiator soild hardly moved and very difficult to carry if I headed the ball up. So I pulled out the AO still in the 2000 Ablraon condition and though I couldn't sing the ball, it handled the heavier oil extremely well turned the corner and the AO even impressed me.
I liked a marble colored ball (unlike Bean's) because I can see my rev rate better. I like the Supernova XP and the Tsumani. The AO reved up very well and read the break point without jumping and rolled up to the pocket and carry was tremendous. So they say no ball hooks in heavy oil and I don't agree because of two balls, the Midnight Scorcer and the AMB particle. The AO won't hook in heavy oil either, but it is a great ball for the longer patterns.
