***This is the final cut list as of 7/22/05 Approx. 4:42 pm eastern time. I am not updating or making any further changes. I am posting this I had said earlier I was sending it to Mr. Buzzsaw via PM but decided to make it public. I received triggermans and lane1bowlers final cuts and went through them and checked profiles and join dates and made my final decisions.
If your left out I am sorry not everyone could be added to this list. We did our best and this proved more difficult than we had intended it to be. Ultimately the final decison was mine I did create the actual F.O.S. Just remeber this is a list for Richie and was not just a sign up form for the F.O.S.
Please keep in mind just because your not on the list doesn't mean your not part of the FOS. Add it to your signature, Belive in the FOS, believe in the power of Lane#1, believe in it all and trust in our wisdom and together we will become stronger than ever!

I'll call myself into question (#21) on the list. After looking atthe definition listed at the beginning of the post I don't think I meet the
official rules to be a full fledged F.O.S. member. I guess you could say
I'm only a pledge or proby.
Here is me so far in pursuit of F.O.S. membership.
One year ago tossed a couple saws, not mine, liked what I saw of the saws.
Picked up a Uranium Pearl a bit later, loved it - still do - first ball out
of my bag. Currently acquired an XXXL, next up (once I get enough political
capital from the spouse) a bullet (it is dry around here), then a Uranium
solid.
So, I'm more of a work in progress and a "wanna-be" at the moment. Would
I like to be on the list, you betcha, but I'm still building the saw attack
pack.

I have never received the kind of customer service, first from one of their top sellers (Doug Sterner, who converted me to Saws), all the way to the very owners of the company. I guess I am old fashioned, for instance, I have been called a Jesus freak because I am wholly 100% united with Christ, therefore if one is to be called a Saw freak, saw head, or any other freak like name to do with saws or Lane 1, then what should the "only" balls be in your bag..., let me help everyone out, the word begins with a B and ends with s, with the letters uzzsaw in between. Now, from what I remember from spelling 101, that should spell Buzzsaws!!
I am not putting anyone down, that has other stuff, but if you are going to be say a Red Soz fan or a fan of anything, then that should be it; you will not find ANY New York Yankees' stuff, nor any other teams stuff in my house, and you will never find anything but a Buzzsaw in my bag, or coming off my hand.

Army Green Carbide Bomb from Tenpinitus. Actually, this is probably my favorite 'saw since I use it for the heavier sport shot patterns I see.
2 Cherry Pearl C2's, Super Carbide, Blueberry from DrillWizard.
Golden Nugget and Emerald from Doug Sterner.
Super Carbide Bomb, Uranium from Beans.
Super Carbide Bomb from MrBowlingnut.
Golden Nugget from Jkiser01.
Black Cherry Bomb, Uranium from Shaggy.
Uranium Solid from REV_o_LUTIONS.
Plus, I have a Silver Diamond, Cherry Bomb, two Blueberries, and a Viper that I bought but I dont remember from whom.
Total of 20 Buzzsaws (one SCB I sold) and half of them are still NIB. I probably dont qualify, but thanks for reading.

Its not all about just using 100% buzzsaws or anything like that because I am sure there is only a select few of us that do that, Its just about a love for the equipment, the company, and the sport. Doesn't matter if you have 30 saws or 1. There is a difference between buzzsaw users and F.O.S. members I hope everyone can understand what I mean there.

I have been throwing them since they started way back with the black saw (it pays to have the lane 1 "shop" right in your bowling alley!) I have met Richie and Chuck and some others. I am talking to Doug about saws all the time. Do I feel like I am part of the FOS? Absolutely. Because of the above mentioned.
But like I said, I know where you guys are coming from and it makes sense.

Either decision is okay by me. I post as I feel I am qualifed to do so. I contribute on the same criteria. If I am qualifed to do so... I do. I bowl so therfore I am a bowler. I study the game from all aspects. I practice... And yes sometimes I SUCK. I love the game. I am loving my SAW. And not gonna put it down until it wears out or I wear out whichever comes first.
I'm not gonna feel dejected, I'm not gonna be upset. Come what may. My SAW and I are gonna have a great relationship together on the lanes. Enjoy... And once again thanks for listening.

I am sure you will understand this first hand; I am as much a Lane 1 family member as I have always been a Red Sox fan. I see you loyalty to this company compared to being a Cubs fan, and having waited 40 years as a Sox fan, I can appreciate your standing. Thanks for quoting me on what a fan is, and I think most here will understand when youguys make the list.
Personally, unless the company goes under (like that would ever happen), I will not own any other ball than I Buzzsaw, much less even use one. I would have to be in another city, with no equipment, and be challenged, and still I would have to think about it. It would feel like cheating on your wife or girlfriend, but I now Richie and Chuck would understand, if a challenge was issued or you were requested to fill a spot in a tourney that you were unprepared for, but was offered somthing that fit you to throw, if one did for that reason.
I consider it a privilege to be F.O.S, and to have met folks like Richie and his wife Sam, Chuck, and some of the staff, and last BUT certaintly not least, my favorite Saw driller, Doug Sterner. All the stuff I have ever thrown before LAne 1 (that is since my first original Columbia Yellow Dot in 1983) is but a blurr to me, and the only stuff to fill my memories now, till I leave this earth, will be Buzzsaw made.
I would gladly bowl with others who roll other products, but as for me and my bag, give me Buzzsaws or give me a Pchee2 142 average.

The only non-Lane#1 stuff I have is stuff I had before I tried my first Buzzsaw. The rest is history.
Oh yeah almost forgot- I have the Skull Flame shirt from a while back that someone mentioned earlier. I wore it in this year's State Tournament and got plenty of attention.

I would love to see a F.O.S. get-together sometime in the future, one somewhat located where I can get to it from CA, and I am sure that Mr. Buzzsaw and Buzzman would come.

I can only think of two bowlers in my five weekly leagues, that use Lane #1 exclusively, one is myself and the other bowls with me and is a convert I convinced to switch from Hammer. We take a lot of flack for the fact that the ball rack looks like a Lane #1, show room when we load it up with balls. We both have 6 ball rollers, it is a beautiful sight.
The flack usually stops after the very first CRUSHING pocket hit.
Stand your ground, the balls are worth every penny of what they cost and MORE.

Its not all about just using 100% buzzsaws or anything like that because I am sure there is only a select few of us that do that, Its just about a love for the equipment, the company, and the sport. Doesn't matter if you have 30 saws or 1. There is a difference between buzzsaw users and F.O.S. members I hope everyone can understand what I mean there.
Its not just about having buzzsaws in your bag its about the F.O.S. which I started a while ago and several people joined at that time and have posted and contributed since. Its not that we don't allow new members, we definitely do. We just don't want everyone joining up because Richie is making some big announcment. Even being a member of FOS doesn't matter how many saws you have in your bag its more of a feeling a desire than anything else.
As I said before I have no idea what this annoucement is for, all I can do is try and come up with what I feel is the best list to give Richie. I am not trying to piss anyone off but I am sure someones feet are going to get stepped on and some names are going to get left out. All I can say is if you do get left off this list that doesn't mean you can't be a part of the F.O.S. and it doesn't mean we don't want you. We urge all who are interested to join us, add FOS to your signature in some way, and go cut some wood(or twister pins).
Also I have several PM's saying I have this ball and this ball and that ball please add me to the list. As I said its not just about balls. Please send the PM's to lane1slave regarding arsenals and such for his database.

For everyone else what i was trying to say earlier is think of it like this. This list is basically for orig. FOS members. The ones that have been with us from the start and those that have posted things before. Like I said people sending me PM's saying I have 4 buzzsaws or 5 or whatever can I be in? Well yes you can be in the FOS from now on you just probably want be on the list. I hope everyone understands the point I am trying to make. Sometimes my brain works better than my typing allows.

Uranium solid (1st ball out of bag, play inside line)
Golden Nugget (2nd ball out of bag if need to play up and in, drilled long)
H2O (doen't behave any differently from my uranium pearl)
XXXL (most spares and 3rd strike ball if burned heads)
As none of my Lane 1 equipment is set up for deep inside shots or huge swings, I switch to a khameleon or quantum fire for such shots.

all this talk about F.O.S is nice ... but lets put it aside for a minute
I am not attacking anyone, just peaceful discussion ... what is really F.O.S all about ?
we got the talk part .. how about the work part ?
is it to use nothing but lane1 balls ? or is it trying to convince others to start using lane1 ?
I think for others to get the complete picture, you guys need to explain this a bit more ... also have in mind that not all are in the US .. and not all have the free time to post daily or even weekly in the discussion boards

You all may have started the FoS but I have been living it for the past 8 years. Was lucky enough to get a PBA ball contract from Lane#1 and have (3) top 4 finishes in the Regionals. As anybody that watches this forum knows. I have the rarest of the rare and the best of the best BUZZSAWS... Everybody calls me when looking for the RARE stuff. AND I MEAN EVERYBODY. Drillwizard and Doug Sterner have bought Saws from me long before becoming Buzzsaw eficianados... I also have supplied JPRLane#1 with my rare saws and even let my PRIZED NIB! Teal go in the hands of Waywood..I PROCLAIM MYSELF.......KING OF THE BUZZSAWS!!!! Any number less than 1 on the list will be an insult!!!! Beans

Ya know that feeling you get when you finally manage to skrimp and save
enough to get that "something" you have to have, you can't live without,
that you must get, that you are proud to use....etc? Well, I feel that way
when I get a new Lane 1 ball and toss that first game.
Do I need a life? Are my priorities screwed up? Probably... but not more
than anyone else in this crazy universe. I like to bowl and Lane 1 is my
choice of ball.
