Blueberry cracking up??????
« on: October 10, 2003, 06:23:58 AM »
I have a Blueberry Buzzsaw and other Lane # 1 equipment. My BB is about 2 months old and already cracking around the finger holes. My Cherry Bomb is about 6 months old and not cracking at all.

I have seen from other posts on here that people's Blueberry's cracking around the fingers.I'm just curious if you had the Blueberry repaired or just sucked it up?

I'm considering purchasing a Cranberry but unsure because of the problem with my Blueberry.

Let me know...

P.S.   Just got my Lane 1 T-shirt from Doug in black the thing looks great,if you don't have one you have to get one.....

Randy,
You might ought to contact the people over a Lane 1 and see if they will consider replacing it. I have heard of some people that have had cover problems with their BB's and Lane 1 has replaced them. Just an Idea.

yea..
my friend has  silver saw and the finger holes all cracked...so he had to replug it and redrill, then it started again. it might be how you throw the ball or maybe just the ball. i heard people telling me the super glue and resin dont match. its a chemical stuff. i dont know.. wells call up lane1 and tell them about your problem

i have experienced alot of lane one balls cracking at the bridge.when you drill the finger holes, make sure there are no air holes etc.if there are some,i super glue the insides of the finger holes, thus sealing them which makes them stronger.i then put in the inserts and glue them. i have several lane one balls and have seen alot of large holes especially near the pin when drilling the finger holes.they are still the best balls in the world though.....

My BB has NEVER cracked at all, however I do have a hairline crack on the Pin of my Cherry Bomb.
