I see an ad ---plain picture only with no explanation---of their new coverstock coming out next month. Haven't heard or seen anything on it.

Ok people lets use what we know.

First Lane#1 uses exact brunswick coverstocks they do not tweak them in any way they just use their own names.  Ok with that said what is the newest coverstock we have heard of from Big B.  Yep thats right the new low load solid particle that is using activator as a base, the new cover they are wrapping the impulse zone in.  So what we have is a new low load particle/activator for brunswick and we have a new low load particle/radioactive for Lane#1.

So I would say we are getting a Low load particle solid radioactive based "Hybrid" Dirty Bomb.

Yes it will definitely have more oil handling capabilitys than the Pearl Radioactive Dirty Bomb.

What kind of length oil generally suits the dirty bomb (cause I have an XXX factor drilled to come straight out of long oil and turn), it looks like it goes through medium length oil, goes long and whip the backend generally?

Anyway from this particle we can probably expect alot of the same of the dirty bomb pearl but better in heavier oil, maybe even more movement in the backend?

Stormstriker I have still not thrown a Dirty Bomb yet myself but I have seen two roll.  I haven't got a feel for the length of oil it will handle, although it will handle a very wide range of lane conditions and it is very very receptive of hand positions, that is what one guy I know that bought two of them really loved about it.  It should be stronger than your triple XXX factor.  Ask Mr. Doug Sterner if you have any more questions about the orig. dirty bomb or beansproshop.  The new dirty bomb if it is the low load particle I do not know that for sure it was simply my educated guess, but more backend possibly but only if used in more oil as designed to do.  As we all know a ball hooks by storing energy so it this thing is used on suitable lane conditons then yes it would have a good backend if there is not enough oil then it woud obviously hook less than the orig. dirty bomb on the backend.

Yes the 18 threw me off too but I don't think they would blend PK18 and Activator.  I think thats just what they wanted to call it like they made up Carbide/R and Radioactive (both of these are regular brunswick covers with catchy lane#1 names) and all their other names.  I think they are just calling their new coverstock "Radioactive 18" becuase thats what they came up with I doubt it has any thing other than coincidence to PK 18.  I could be thousands of miles off though you never know it could be a PK18 and Activator blend.  History though shows us Brunswick makes the inferno,  Lane#1 makes the uranium.  Bruns. makes the Ult. Inferno new strong reactive technology without paricle and Lane#1 makes the Solid U.  So I am thinking new low load particle, new lane#1 ball.  Only thing they haven't used recently is Activator + and we don't really know how much different it is than Orig. activator.  I don't think its Activator+ because thats pearl and this ball in pic looks solid.

If it were plain Pk18 it wouldn't say hybrid or radioactive it is obviously not just run of the mill PK18.  Are you also suggesting radioactive/activator doesn't last but 30 games if so you are very very wrong my friend.

Yep Pk18 and Activator/radioactive,  Mr. Buzzsaw confirmed on the lane#1 website.  I am quite surprised that they simply blended the two coverstocks but I am sure it wil be great like the rest of my saws.
