Whatt conditions is the cobalt for?

I read that the cobalt bomb is made for med to dry yet it has a 7" flare potential?  Is this true?

Comparison chart from Lane #1...

http://lane1bowling.com/tech/hook.html

Looks like it isn't rated that high for amount of hook, but it appears that is saves nearly everything for the backend.

That right there could be why there is so much confusion about it's oil handling capability.

It's hook potential on our house shot (dry outside of 7 and clean backends) is more like 250 on the Lane #1 chart! Seriously, it will go like hell on the backend.

If you drill it strong there is no way it would be a dry lane ball.

i drilled mine stacked just like my pearl cherry bomb and i tell u what i couldnt get it off the head pin. It was stronger than my cherry bomb but slightly uner the black cherry.  Radical move in the back end i wasnt used to but ill figure it out soon.  Maybe more games on it will calm it down some.  When i hit the pocket there was no better carry than this ball tho.
