Original Curve vs. Timebomb
« on: August 13, 2010, 05:45:31 AM »
There have been a number of "Timebomb vs...." type threads, but I don't see one specific to the Curve. So here it goes for those who have experience with both.

I was going to pick up a Timebomb based on the positive reviews and to get a feel for the new core. I don't have a lot of equipment in the 'go long snap hard' category, so there wouldn't be much overlap in what I currently own.

But I've been thinking more about the Curve. It's solid counterpart, the Big Curve, has recently become one of my favorite balls. I've been having a lot of success with the Big Curve on heavier oil in my PBAX league, and I'd really like to have the same type of reaction for mediums.

So how much overlap is their between the Curve and Timebomb? If I'm going to add an aggressive pearl, which one should I consider more? All thoughts appreciated.
