Original Black Buzzsaw
« on: September 08, 2006, 04:31:20 AM »
Any interest in a 15# NIB original (I think) Buzzsaw, 2-3" pin?  It says C/2 and I thought the original was just a Buzzsaw/C.  It's shiny black with yellow writing, so I don't thinks it's a Raspberry?  Is it worth picking up to use, or would one of the diehard Buzzsaw people (JPRLane#1, Doug Sterner, Triggerman...) be interested in it?

To those that might be interested, the ball is in a shop that I know.  He doesn't sell anything without the drilling price, or else it would be cheaper.  I'm not taking pictures of a new ball, but I'll try to get the proper details.  If you are interested in it, please post or PM me a price.  I doubt I'll get it for myself, but if it's worth my while, I'll pick it up and pass it along.  I'm not looking for a big profit, just enough to cover my time.

I ran into the guy who does the drilling there.  Maybe I looked at it wrong and it said "C" not "C2" because he's almost positive it's an original Black Buzzsaw.  He wants over $200 for it (won't separate it from the drilling package), so I guess only serious collectors need to be concerned.  I've seen used Buzzsaws go for more than some of the offers I received via PM's so far, LOL.  I'll be out of town for about a week, but if it's still there when I return, I'll get all of the details.  It's been there a while, so I doubt it will sell while I'm gone.

Hmmmmmm.  Interesting.  Looks like I'll have to get a better look at the ball before I get any one's hopes up.  It's definitely black, not dark blue, so I don't think it's a Blueberry.

The original Black Buzzsaw does not have anything with a "/c" on it so it can't be that....

Get PICs and post them, we should be able to finger it out better that way....

I bought a crapload of Blueberry blems a while ago.  They were BLACK in color. Reacted exactly the same as the Blueberries.  Lane #1 never changes the color of their engraving unless they are test balls...I doubt it though.  I would bet it is a blem Blueberry

I have the Black Buzzsaw with the yellow engraving with the old Lane #1 inc logo and BUZZSAW by the serial number.  No /c on the ball.  So I agree that if it does have a /c somewhere on the ball, its probably as Beans said, a black (Blueberry).
