how to bring back the OOB of GN
« on: April 03, 2008, 03:13:37 AM »
I have used sand paper on it, now is 1000 grit, seems like the ball cannot grab  the lane well, I brought a set of Abralon, what is the step I need to do to bring back it OOB performance ?

so, anyone know what is the good surface finish for a house that is using old wood wearing head with 35 feet oil long dressing (that short because of they know they cannot clean the backend well to compensate the heavy carrydown) ? more, the backend never clean up well. so I need a ball cut through the borken down and recover in the carry down.

If the backends are THAT bad, the best thing you can do is get up the back of the ball and get it into a roll. If it's not hooking, it's either skidding or rolling out. Do you know which fits your case?

my problem is skidding, the ball is still in hooking stage and cannot go into a pure roll, that is why I always leave 2-8-10 or 1-2-4-6-10. I am now using your mentioned style to roll the ball but... my twisted (rico) is not in carrydown and my new complete NV seems will be rollout due to the heavy broken down. so I am now trying to pull back my GN and want to have a try.
