For all of you who have thrown both, how do they compare? The Pearl Uranium is one of my favorite balls of all time, and while it's holding up well (with lots of TLC), I anticipate looking for a replacement sometime in the near future.
Insights are appreciated. Thanks.

Jen: Thanks for the input. I do have the XP, with the pin/MB stacked slightly right of the ring. I think with a higher pin placement closer to center of grip, it would have closer roll characteristics to the Pearl Uranium.
I was just trying to figure out where the BuzzBOMB/R would fit into the overall scheme of things. Thanks.

Steven,
Keep in mind that the Pearl Uranium had a single density core and the XP had a multi density core. In my eyes I thought the Pearl U and XP's covers were very similar in reaction characteristics with the XP core a bit earlier.
So I agree with you as you stated a weaker pin placement on the stronger core ball will emulate the Pearl U closer.
I still have (4) NIB Pearl Uraniums left in 15 lb.
Hope this helps.......Beans

Beans: Thanks for the reply. I always thought based on my own experience with the XP/Uranium that the XP is inherently earlier. Given the lower RG numbers on the Uranium, I couldn't explain it. Thanks for the clarification.
I'll PM you regarding the Uraniums. Thanks.
