Title: pin position and top weight

Hey, I'm kinda new to the whole "new" bowling ball thing and I had a couple of questions.  I wanna buy a Super Carbide Bomb and it gives you a choice of pin position and top weight.  I know that a higher top weight will give you a later break point but what does the pin position effect?  Thanks
