I really like the Super Carbide Bomb and Cherry Bomb.  Any chance that Lane#1 would use this core wrapped in a solid reactive coverstock... Blueberry Bomb???  The Super Bomb, Cherry Bomb, and Blueberry Bomb would be a great 3 ball combination.

i don't think there would be a way to get a ball wedged between the two... the pk 18 would be what i'm thinkin you are purposing ( blueberry cover??) i don't think it would match with the core too well b/c pk18 likes to arc.. the core is quick reving and i don't think it would be anymore aggressive than the cherry..  now  i could see the carbide /r cover in a solid.. that would be great imo.. something to pick up just a bit sooner and still rip the backends without going partical could really be nice.. i would rather see a ball with a very mild resin on it for a similar reaction to the XL i think that would be nice.. i need a dry lane ball but the Xl would be more than i need and i don't like the idea of plastic no matter how hard i try.. how bout an XXL with the core of the bombs with pearl urethane cover ala the groove series? that would be bought by me i know that..

crankncrash,

A solid version of the Cherry Bomb would be great.  I still think a solid PK18 reactive cover with the Cherry Bomb core would be a great addition.  I found that the solid PK18 cover can be easily polished for drier conditions and scuffed for the heavier oil.  I would buy either ball.

I agree with C N C here...I think a urethane cover wrapped around either the C2 or the Cherry Bomb core would be devastating.

Lane 1 is missing only that component and their line would be complete. The XL and Silver Diamond are still pretty aggressive even with mild drill patterns.

A tamer ball like a urethane would be awesome.

Doug,

I agree that the Cherry Bomb core with a urethane coverstock would be a great addition for dry lanes.  I still would like to see the Cherry Bomb core with the solid pk18 coverstock to play medium conditions with carrydown.

Ridiculous! That ball would cover medium-heavy at a minimum, but heavy oil for real; that core is obscene and the PK 18 cover is far too skid/flip, unless it is sanded to 600-800 grit.

I'd love to see the Blueberry's core in a PK 17 coverstock, a real ball, not a hook-in-a-box ball.

I would like to see the SCB core put together with the activator cover.  I was hoping the cherry bomb was going to be that combination...  probably have to wait a few years before lane#1 can get their hands on the activator cover though

I would love to see Lane 1 come out with something I could afford without selling blood/plasma/crack......or take a second mortgage on my house.....

Maybe called ....Mini Bomb.........

As for new lane one names/balls.....

always wanted to see the BOMB POP........Red,white,blue.....just like the coolest popsicle that I always bought at the neighborhood store....
